Kerala honeymoon trip review
We, Sneha and Prasanth, had our honeymoon trip from September 25th to October 1st, covering Athirapally, Guruvayoor Temple, Munnar, Alleppey Houseboat, and Kovalam. It was a beautiful 7-day journey filled with memorable experiences.
The trip started with Athirapally’s majestic waterfalls, which were truly mesmerizing. Visiting the Guruvayoor temple was a peaceful and spiritual experience. From there, we moved to Munnar, where our stay at Tall Trees Resort was simply remarkable. The property’s natural charm, calm surroundings, and warm hospitality made it one of the most memorable parts of our trip.
In Alleppey, we stayed at the Xandari River Escapes houseboat, which turned out to be the highlight of our honeymoon. Cruising along the serene backwaters, enjoying authentic Kerala food on board, and spending quality time together was an experience we will cherish forever. We even wish to return in the future and spend two nights on the houseboat.
Finally, our stay at Uday Samudra in Kovalam gave us the perfect beachside relaxation to end the trip on a happy note. The food throughout the journey was delicious, and the service everywhere was satisfying.
Special mention to our driver, Shibu, who was extremely friendly, polite, and supportive, making our travel smooth and comfortable.
Overall, we had a memorable honeymoon vacation that beautifully combined nature, spirituality, luxury, and relaxation. Kerala truly gave us memories for a lifetime.
